Stayed for a business meeting and had the most fun and AMAZING food at the hotel's restaurant www.secondstoryrestaurant.com. Can not wait to stay again!! Thank you to Jose Marco for a great Bloody Mary on Sunday. And the menu choices were great!

Stayed at this hotel for a get away from the kids night. The atmosphere feels like the 60's. Our room was comfortable although the bathroom was a little bit small. The restaurant makes a great capuccino.

I just wrapped up a 3 night stay at The Belamar. This hotel is fantastic! It is small and welcoming and the staff are equally welcoming and friendly. I could walk in thru the lobby and up to my room on the second floor in less than 20 seconds. My room was spotless and the bathroom in particular was so clean I could have probably eaten off the floor.

The restaurant had delicious food (highly recommend the brussel sprouts app), cold beer, and very friendly wait staff. The breakfast buffet was very impressive, and consisted of both buffet items and items you could custom order through the kitchen such as fresh made omlets and waffles.

Can't wait to come back!

I have the pleasure of staying here for work once or twice a month and my stays are "Always Excellent". The staff go out of their way to accommodate requests and the restaurant and bar are great...and just down the hall if you don't want to leave.

The location could not be better, with LAX and Manhattan Beach about 10 minutes away.

Room Tip: I try to avoid rooms over the parking lot....every time the valet parks a car and locks the doors the obligatory horn honk can be annoying.

What a delightful hip home away from home! The Belamar Hotel in Manhattan Beach is an excellent stop for road weary travellers. Martini's on Monday are just one way that this boutique hotel makes you feel like you are someplace different. The staff at the Belamar is engaged. . . even to the point of having the room service attendant say that the "tip was included" when he delivered dinner. Have you ever heard that? Belamar is a fun experience that will make you happy!
