This has to be a first--this restaurant has been here forever, with mostly mediocre offerings, poor service, and not very interesting menu. While the menu is almost exactly the same as I remembered it from 10-15 years ago, the food and service have improved, giving nearby Left Bank a run for its money. I had escargot (it was terrific) and the Couscous Royal and liked them both (the couscous had a distinctly Moroccan flavor). Husband had the oinion soup and the cassoulet, both of which he liked very much. With a couple of glasses of wine, the price added up, certainly. But still lovely to see this restaurant make a come back.

My daughter had a 25th birthday party for her daughter here. Everything was set up, staff attentive, food delicious and above and beyond what we expected,

The owner is very personable. Ask to meet him. He is easy going, gracious and wants to make you happy! The Onion Soup is great. I'd skip the Caesar Salad, it was generally uninteresting. The Coq Au Vin is terrific.

The four of us all had seafood. The sauteed prawns were fine but a little chewy. My onion soup with cheese gratin was good. The Coquilles St Jacques were not as good as I had had a few nights previously in an Italian restaurant, not as tasty and did not melt in the mouth. My son enjoyed his moules marinieres. Paella was good but pricey at 30 dollars. The house white wine was overpriced at 20 dollars for half a litre. The layout of the tables was such that the ambiance was lacking.

We have been going for years. What's great is that they've opened up a front patio so that there's more dining outside.

This is a place for French comfort food. A lot of the menu is traditional. This week I had the mussels and fries. My friend had the salade nisoise. All beautiful food.

This is a quiet place - great for meetings or having a long conversation. On the weekends, it's very family oriented too.
