Very clean, neat and quiet. Adorable room with antique furniture. Tucked under tall, magnificent redwoods what a relaxing, peaceful place to stay. Walk to restaurant and grocery store. I highly recommend Miranda Gardens Resort.

Our bedroom suite at Miranda was wonderful! It appeared to have been recently renovated. All the furnishing and accessories were tasteful, exceptionally clean, and well designed. I loved the wood siding and the beautiful sink. But most of all, I loved the area. To be able to park under the redwoods just to walk into your front door - that's a very rich experience. Even in a rainstorm the place is cozy and atmospheric.

Convenient and located in scenic area but not really as described or the best choice for a stay in the beautiful redwoods. Actually next to main road rather than in forest, as it seems to be described. Dark, dank smelling cabin and bedding. Noise from road and other residents. Poor reception service and not much of a welcome. You won't be given breakfast if you stay in winter and that's not made clear nor do you get reduction in price for it. Not value for money...... overrated and overpriced for what we got. Would not recommend unless you want to pay even more for a bigger cabin.

SO SORRY for your less than pleasant stay! I hardly know where to begin, but we try and show where cottages are located on the property and we are thought to be private, clean and welcoming, obviously not your experience.
Our Continental Breakfast is served May through October and I apologize for any misunderstanding. We do post that on our web site. Our winter prices are lower and we also offer a manager's special where you get one half off your 3rd night. Given your experience, this is not enticing.
What really disturbs me is you saying the cabins were dank smelling and noisy. We are known for having very clean and fresh accommodations and I really appreciate you telling us that this was not your experience. Thank you for taking time to give your impressions; we are always looking to improve.
I hope that the rest of your trip was enjoyable.

Comfortable midpoint in Avenue of the Giants and fairly priced. Walking distance to restaurant and market. Cozy electric fire and queen size bed. Congenial staff. We were there mid-winter and raining—would probably be delightful in the sun!

Hi Susan,
We are like two different places in summer and winter. When you visited during our very short rainy spell (which we need so much!), our creek was roaring and the trees were hushed by the rain.....very different from summer.
Glad to hear "cozy" which is just what you needed, and what we strive to provide.
Hope you come back to swim in the pool and make s'mores by the campfire.
Thanks for taking time to comment, it is so helpful to future guests.
