We had gone to this mall for dim sum and saw the restaurant sign saying "Ganache." Intrigued, because I love a good chocolate ganache, we stopped by here to check out the desserts. Wow, were we ever surprised by what we found here. It turns out the chefs had worked for a decade at various five star hotels (Mandarin anyone? How about the Peninsula?) This little cafe has been open for a couple years and they turn out the most fantastic, French-inspired desserts that I've ever had. The desserts are not cloyingly sweet; each has its own distinctive flavors using the highest quality ingredients and created with the greatest care and purpose. We had the chocolate truffle cake, with eight layers, and the creme brulee. Each "main flavor" of the dessert was complemented by unique additions that added to the richness of the flavors. With a large cup of cappuccino with dark chocolate, this was one of the best desserts I've ever had.
