The Victorian age reins at the Napa Inn. Charming, homey & gracious is what I would say about this B&B. Afternoon cheese/crackers/fruit with wine and cold beverages. Breakfast was served from the kitchen with each day's menu different than the day before and very tasty I might add, The overall appearance and condition is very well maintained for the age of the property. If you require huge and modern, stay at the Silverado Resort. The staff is very accommodating and helpful with an "at your service attitude".
No elevators so be ready to hoist your bags upstairs.
The main street and along the river are a bit of a hike (especially in 110 degree weather) but there are plenty of parking places to leave your car and experience the town's tasting rooms, shops, & great food.
We enjoyed our two nights here and would consider staying here again.

Room Tip: The Tower Room has big bay windows which lets in the sunshine.

We came "too early" for check in, but Suzanne saw to it that we could check in and leave our bags there. She was friendly with a great sense of humor. She showed us around the gorgeous house and made us feel totally welcome. We spent the whole day visiting wineries and came back at dinner time. We took advantage of the menus in the house and ordered dinner for takeout. We were too tired to go out. There were cold drinks in the community fridge and that made it perfect.

Breakfast was cooked and delicious.

We will be back at The Napa Inn on a yearly basis.

Our group of couples and singles stayed here for my birthday and we had a wonderful experience thanks to the staff who welcomed us as if we were guests in their home.

Some of the staff is local and they pointed us to some fantastic vineyards; others helped us arrange a Vinyard Tour Bus and fed us delicious breakfast and kept the cookies stocked during the day!

We will definitely stay here next time we're in town!

Room Tip: This is a B&B, thus all rooms have a nice charm to them!

Upon arrival at the inn I appreciated how quiet and well kept the neighborhood was. Cindy checked us in and invited us to wine and cheese right away! She gave us a tour of the house and provided helpful information. We had the Victoria room. The room was well appointed with two windows that provided enough light. It felt airy and didn't small being the smallest room of the inn. The couch and chair were good enough to sit for reading. After settling down, we decided to enjoy the garden before dinner. The side patio had a few tables and chairs which provided a relaxing place for us to sip our wine and enjoy the coolness under the shade. We had dinner at the Ristorante Allegria and simply walked there under 15 minutes. Cindy gave us a appetizer coupon for that restaurant when she found out where we were going to have dinner. What a nice free touch!!! The bathroom was very spacious and comfy. The towels were wonderful. I do have one suggestion for improvement: the bed could be replaced because every time one of us turned, it creaked and squeaked and the mattress moved. Otherwise, we had a quiet night. Also it was very nice that hot water, teas, hot cocoa and sodas were complimentary all day/all night. Now the breakfast: We were invited warmly by Suzanne the next morning. She served us coffee and juice. Then we helped ourselves to fresh fruits, yogurt, granola. After that came the bread pudding with warm amaretto sauce. OH, it was heavenly! Then the entree was egg florentine and potatoes with a thin slice of watermelon. The egg dish was so delicious that it just melted in my mouth!! We just had a wonderful breakfast. Thank you, Cindy and Suzanne.

On a whim, my wife and I decided to take a spontaneous trip to the North Bay, and decided to try out the b and b experience, which we had never done before. So after finding the Napa Inn on-line, we made a reservation in the morning and met with a young lady named Katie that afternoon. Right away, Katie made us feel at home, and showed us around the property. After a short tour, she told us about the downtown restaurant "alley", which we headed to later for dinner. Once we settled into our room, we immediately began to enjoy the charm and comfort of this Victorian B and B, and loved the quiet, quaint area that surrounds the home, along with the other Victorians.

We had dinner at a local Italian eatery--the food was delicious (also recommended by Katie)! After a nice walk, we retired to an amazingly comfortable bed, and fell right to sleep, which is HARD for me to do on vacation.

The next morning, we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast in the hotel dining room (the quiche was outstanding), and the staff really took care of us! We are now looking forward to spending more time in Napa, and can't wait to visit the Napa Inn B and B again!

Unfortunately our stay was short however, we found the Napa Inn to be very beautiful, centrally located and super comfortable.
The morning breakfasts were very tasty and the Inn Keepers were friendly.
Highly recommended for your visit to Napa Valley.
