Such a great view on the upstairs balcony outside! They have the best happy hour! 3-7 daily. They also offer different specials on happy hour each night of the week. Best patty melt!! Staff is always friendly:)

While visiting Balboa we lunched at Newport Landing Restaurant. What a great place. It's bright and airy, with an upstairs outside patio affording a terrific view of the water and boat traffic. The menu was extensive offering a variety of fish and seafood. For landlubbers, there was beef, chicken, lamb and veggies. Our server was great offering suggestions. It's easy to get to, right off the ferry. It made for a cool, breezy and enjoyable respite on a warm day of site-seeing.

If you are ever in the Newport Beach Fun Zone Area, right by the ferry that takes travelers to Balboa Island, be sure to stop in for a drink and some appetizers. A lunch or dinner wouldn't be bad either. But do enjoy their many delicious appetizers and a few refreshing cocktails at very affordable prices. The crab cakes are delicious, and the chicken lettuce cups--while different from most, are uniquely delicious and refreshing. Coconut shrimp are a must have treat too! Enjoy the sights and sounds of the harbor while enjoying some tasty morsels. You won't go wrong.

We were a little hesitant to try it at first, because it was near the Ferry and looked more like a tourist trap. However, my daughter was getting hungry, so we had to act quicky. The hostess wasn't very friendly which made me even more hesitant, but there was no time to look for another place.
Our waiter was very professional and polite, so that made us feel better. However, when the food arrived we were glad we stayed-it was absolutely delicious! Well presented and seasoned to perfection. We even recommended the restaurant to some friends who live in Newport Beach, but had never heard of it.

We went there for happy hour and lucked out it was on a Thursday. $2 taco night. Beef chicken and fish.
All the fixings. Super Service. It was a wonderful experience and I'm already planning my return trip when I'm the area.
