Stopped by to do some cheese tasting and ended up having a grilled cheese and tomato soup for lunch. Both were good There are tables outside where you can eat. They also have a fish pond where you can feed the fish they also have some goats you can feed. It was a pleasant stop.

An interesting place to stop by and browse, taste some cheese, and buy what you like - the gouda cheese (of various kinds) is good! Lots of other knick knacks too to browse, and the bread is freshly baked. They also have various types of cheese cakes. The staff here is friendly and helpful.

They sell grilled cheese sandwiches ($3.99) and one can eat them outside by the gardens - very peaceful. They have a small pond with large kois, probably overfed by the visitors (25cents per scoop from the twist machines). Similarly they have a small pen with goats and sheep to be fed too (the machines have very still rotators, needs some force to turn the knob to get the food pellets for the goats).

It is hard to beat a $4 grilled cheese made with fresh gouda and enjoyed in the sun on this cheese factory's beautiful grounds. This is definitely not a place to stop for lunch - sandwiches are too small and that's all they've got - but it definitely IS a place to stop, stretch your legs, have a snack, and possibly buy some really good gouda to bring home for family or friends. Beautiful flowers all around the property. We broke up our trip from Yosemite to SF by stopping here and it was a good choice.
