Description: Fireside Pizza Co. is the brainchild of long time friends Ray Villaman and Ted Kennedy. Ray is a 20 year restaurant veteran including - California Pizza Kitchen, Boston Market, the California Restaurant Association and even a short time as President of Blimpies. Ray also had a ton of help from his Father in Law Rich who remains to this day a vital part of the restaurant management team. You may see the big, smiling fella working with the dough in the back or out front with the guests.Other help came from Mark Wheeler, Scott Kennedy and of course Ray's lovely wife Chris and their two sons Jacob and Nicholas. We hope that you enjoy this family creation - combined with some great investors and friends - all wrapped together to bring you the Fireside Pizza Company. We've won a ton of awards for our fresh, unique pizza - but the best award is still when you tell us or your friends that you had an excellent experience here - thanks so much.Sincerely,Fireside Pizza

Was expecting at least a good experience based on all the positive feedback but our experience was average at very best (almost gave it a “poor”). The prices are not even close to meeting the quality expectations. The place was dirty and not inviting. The Fireside pizza was way small for the price tag. The pear walnut salad was completely lacking in creativity, and the added chicken cold, tasteless and hard. The wine I was recommended was horrible, and served way too warm. The service was ok but you felt like being on an assembly line. Would not go again and not recommend. Clearly a victim of being a monopoly in its genre in a resort town.

Our server Tam was "on it" from the beginning. He was the best. I ordered a glass of Pinot Grigio and the Mediterranean with Gorgonzola not Feta. Hubby ordered a 5050 IPA and the Fireside pizza. We shared a house salad. It was all so good that I want to go back tomorrow.
Lots of folks had their dogs and kids with them at the outdoor seating. The sunsjine and outdoor heater made the experience perfect!

The host was very nice, despite it being extremely busy. The waitstaff was nice too, we like how she brought our water and drinks in these large Bell jars. The food was yummy, we had pizza (could've used more sauce), spaghetti and cobb salad. Lots of leftovers for the next day!

Located in the center of the Village, this is some of the bet pizza I have even tasted. Another night we ordered the pasta which did no disappoint.

We eat here often after skiing. A bottle of wine. Mediterranean pizza with added chicken. Sitting outdoors. What a great way to enjoy Squaw Valley, the scenery and good food. Staff is always friendly on top
Of everything. The pizza is good the wine beer great. And you can’t best the putdoor setting.
