Platinum member who has to travel to ONT almost every week. I've stayed at every Marriott in/near here (except the Townplace which i've heard horro stories about).
Due to cost considerations I switched to the Fairfield from the Courtyard. Didn't want to do the Residence Inn down the road as Fairfield gets you 2x the Marriott points. You need to realize this is a Fairfield, so its a step above a motel, but the price works. Seems to be a mostly business traveler hotel, I've never once seen anyone in the pool (which is tiny). That means it's nice & quiet, despite being almost walking distance to the airport. HVAC works decent in most rooms, although 2x I did have to turn it off as I couldn't keep a stable temperature.
No food onsite, but there are roughly 8 gazillion places to eat nearby. Plus who wants to just sit in the hotel room while on business travel. Rooms are always clean, no smell (like some other Marriotts nearby). Front desk people are nice, although I always check in via the app so I just smile, hand them my CC for swipe/verification, and am on my way. After getting one of the cookies they always have, of course.More
