Stopped here in transit for the night and it was a very pleasant stop.
The hotel is the older style of the Marriott chain and represents the style they once had, so its not the new look of the range but makes up for it in many areas. The hotel is surrounded by a golf course and the grounds and setting are peaceful and welcoming.
The night we were there there was a local food truck doing tacos for dinner and it really added to the flavour of the stay in every sense of the word. Yum.
Breakfast area was good and all the normal choices and nice way to start the day over looking the golf course.
The room was clean and tidy and yes the older style but nothing to really fault other than a sightly noisy fridge.
Big thing here if you have trouble getting up stairs make sure you get a lower level room as with cases the second level rooms can be a bit hard to get up to.
Parking areas were well lit and free of charge.
Access was easy to get to the hotel from the 101 freeway and no real dramas there and easy to get back to as well. It does make a great option for a stay if traveling the West Coast region.More
