Like an oasis, La Maison was a haven. Cornelia and Richard are the best, making each guest feel welcome and including amenities that make the stay memorable. The room was spacious, clean, flooded with light, quiet, and the bed was great. I am looking forward to returning this fall. You can't go wrong at La Maison with Cornelia and Richard as your hosts.

Room Tip: All the rooms that I saw facing the pool were wonderful. I didn't see those on the upper floor.

My wife and I just spent a short weekend in Palm Springs and the stay at La Maison made it an exceptional weekend. You can tell that the hosts, Richard and Comelia, have years of experience working with people. They informed us that they own a B&B in Vancouver and it really showed. Even though it is listed as a hotel, it was homey like a B&B. The room was neat and clean, the grounds were quiet, private, and extremely relaxing. We highly recommend this place and look forward to a return trip in the fall.

Room Tip: The rooms downstairs fill up fast but we stayed upstairs and loved it.

My husband and I recently spent lovely 5 days at La Maison and couldnt have been happier with our time spent there. Richard and Cornelia were the perfect hosts and generous with their hospitality in every way, good food, complimentary wine, beers and snacks at sunset and they even treated us to a home cooked meal with other guests one evening. The room was newly redecorated and the bed was super comfy with lovely linen. The grounds are beautifully kept and it was a pleasure to spend some quiet time in this little oasis in Palm Springs.

There's no hint from outside this hotel of what awaits you beyond the wall. Entering via the locked gate (to which you have a key) is like stepping into an oasis of calm. We stayed at this lovely small hotel for a week in April & the feeling of entering a different world on the other side of that gate was just as strong on the last day as it was on the first. If you want DJs, music, pool games & other activities then go elsewhere, many of the large hotels in Palm Springs will cater to your taste. La Maison is quiet, peaceful, relaxing - a perfect place to unwind. It's location is ideal for access to the attractions of Palm Springs as well as for touring the region. The owners are welcoming & hospitable without being 'in your face' - Richard & Cornelia will happily chat or provide information but are skilled in recognising when guests just want to relax quietly. Having breakfast included & being able to take this in the garden terrace with the personal service of Richard making you a very good cappuccino gets each day off to a good start. The late afternoon 'happy hour' is very welcome whether you have spent your day shopping, touring, hiking or lazing by the pool. Rooms are clean & comfortable with quality furniture & there is free car parking just outside of the gate. This place is perfect & we hope to be able to return.

A February week of relaxation at La Maison was a very good week for me. Met girlfriends there and with Cornelia and Richard's morning lattes, scones, croissants, fresh-picked fruit and sun patio-poolside, relaxed conversation flowed and we often didn't head out until 11am for exploring and shopping. Very conveniently located for easy day trips. We spent several evenings sipping wine, noshing on the light appetizers provided and visiting with other very interesting guests in the comfortable poolside area. And, with 2 wonderful restaurants a block away, at the modern, colorful Saguaro- Tinto and El Jefe (by Iron Chef Jose Garces) drinking and good dining can be done close to "home." This is a very special, unpretentious place to spend a well deserved and/or needed get-away.
