This is an older motel that was upgraded. The room was clean and comfortable with sofa, desk, small dinette table and a microwave and refrigerator with a sink and counter top. Bathroom was upgraded with a nice shower. Large, flat screen TV with good channel selection. The bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Coffee maker in room but no complimentary breakfast. Many, many restaurants within walking distance. The wifi was excellent. The only negative was the noise. I would recommend bringing a "white noise" machine if you have one. I used mine and slept very well. I would stay here again.

Nothing fancy, but very clean and comfortable. We were in an upstairs "suite" - pull out couch, desk/chair, small table and mini kitchen separate from queen bedroom, large bathroom/shower. nice touch of chocolates and bottle water to greet us, easy parking, some noise from street and busses, but did not bother us. location is great, 2 min walk to california street for restaurants. friendly host, we have found our spot next time we visit campus. price is right and hope it stays that way.

While it is an older place, with the thin walls of years ago, it is clean, remodeled, and a good price for the area. We certainly heard the vigorous young neighbors (a couple times!) - more insulation would certainly help - the heavy traffic on El Camino was not too bad - it slowed during the night. We were there on a weekday - the garbage trucks come very early - several of them. There is a light standard in the parking lot behind the motel - giving you a really good night light in the bathroom. I would suggest the staff consider putting a pen in each room - had to go to the office to get one, couldn't find mine, and was told they don't put them in the rooms "because people take them" - (I thought that was good advertising) - but was asked to return it when I was done.

Room tip: Upstairs at the far end where you are a bit secluded from noise.

Very quaint, clean and friendly staff. Very practical for business travelers with a big desk and good wifi connection. The kitchenette is handy as well. Location is great as it is walking distance to restaurants and cal train. On a bus route as well.

This is an excellent little motel with extremely friendly staff. Very clean. Plenty of restaurants within a couple of blocks. Only suggestion is to stay on second floor. You can here people above you walking around at times. Wasn't bad but it would have been better staying on the second floor. Would definitely stay here again.
