It's a shame this place is open for business only until 3 pm and is closed on Sundays. I can eat there only on Saturdays which is not always convenient for me. Tootsies is located in charming, rustic, brick building with indoor and outdoor seating. The entire area is wonderful and worth spending some time there. My first choice, bomboloni, was perfect. Delicious Italian doughnut coated in sugar and stuffed with amazing pastry cream. Panini is always a solid choice there. My Panozzo (prosciutto, mozzarella, olives pesto, greens) was perfectly toasted and delicious. One is enough for one person. Latte Macchiato was perfect, intense in taste and very aromatic. Arancini di Riso tasted very good, however it was too much arugula and bread for just two rice balls. Arugula should be sprinkled with dressing or just olive oil. Frittata (with seasonal vegetables) was pretty small but fresh, warm and quite good. It was served with nutella toast on the side. I thought it was an unusual combination of flavors. Service can be slow and is not very professional (waiter mistook my order) but I can live with that. Overall, it is a wonderful place with great food. Just perfect spot for late weekend breakfast.
