Have visited the hotel three times, one of my favorite. Mid-twentieth century aesthetic has been preserved both in the rooms and on the property as a whole. Other guests were pretty quiet each time I have stayed. The location is good also convenient for various things without too much street noise.
Second time here, great location, rooms good size, very nice staff, we came here for the cruel world festival last year and decided to come back. We are not disappointed, very much a retro style place that has breakfast in morning.
Well run old school motel. Really liked our single bed room with a comfortable armchair. No in-room coffee maker but lobby has good coffee and a very nice early breakfast selection. Very nice alternative to the cookie cutter chains.
Saga is great for what it is. Immaculately clean, affordable, well located, nice office staff, good breakfast, convenient parking. Not a "special" or "boutique" hotel experience, but it always checks the right boxes for us when we are in Pasadena.
Absolutely loved this wonderfully preserved mid-century hotel. No frills, just nostalgia. There are so many cool details including a brown bag style continental breakfast, a swimming pool that is more than 6ft deep, and even old school keys. It's in a nice location across the street from Pasadena City College and down the street from Old Town Pasadena. Highly recommend.
