Loved it overall! Coffee in the room would have been nice but a wonderful pastry shop just across the street.

Ants and Mystery Sludge Out the Window

Beautiful pool. Nice staff. Tiny room with the desk shoved up against a wall. Ants were in my room and crawling on me, and directly outside my window I could see a brown puddle of some sort of mystery sludge on the roof that looked totally disgusting.

Terrific location. Old-timey hotel. Nice pool. Some rooms are extremely small. And Service is poor. Despite numerous attempts over the course of an entire day to get a fresh set of towels, and a number of promises from the front desk that they would be delivered "right away", I had to eventually ask a housekeeping staff member in our hallway in the evening, who called her supervisor, who then hand delivered the towels. The housekeeping staff was excellent! The front desk - not so much

Hotel room is spacious. Bathroom is huge. Modern decoration. Nice cute yard. However here are a few cons:
Thin walls: our neighbor was partying until 2am, and it was extremely loud and disturbing. Couldn’t sleep at all.
Hot tub: no hot water for two days.
Room cleaning: it was on demand. We stayed for three nights. Asked for cleaning on day 2. Cleaning was fully booked, but they were going to take out trash and provide clean sheets and towels. They didn’t do that until we asked again when we got back at night.
Shampoos/conditioner/shower gel wasn’t available until requested.
Room tip: If you are a light sleeper, this wouldn’t work for you.

Excellent in all respects. Quite, excellent central location on Colorado with a spectacular lobby, great food/drink bar, wonderful staff and a fantastic pool. Highly recommended

We stayed here because of its location. The lobby is beautiful and it was a great backdrop for meeting friends while we stayed here. The rooms are small but we were only in them to sleep. We would stay here again.
