First - note that this property is not located in Downtown Pasadena but about a mile further north just off los Robles. This is not meant to detract from the overall quality but just a heads up. We found the location to be perfect.
There is a Bus Stop (bus was on time every day) less than a block away. So getting to the Orange Line and the rest of LA was easy.
The Baja Market, a block away, was excellent. The Grill inside serves ready made Mexican meals, and the grocery is more than adequate to everyday living.
The unit is small, and I wouldn't have wanted to try to have four adults in the unit. I think it would be tight even with two adults and a couple of young kids. But.. for Two adults it was perfect.
The kitchen was well equipped: nice pots/pans, sharp knives, coffee maker microwave, etc. The unit is also pleasantly stocked with a wonderful gift basket and a few necessary items that make staying there easy. Specifically: olive oil, vinegar, enough coffee to get you started, coffee filters, plastic sandwich bags, spices, Salt and Pepper.
The neighborhood was quiet.
Charter Spectrum and VOD give plenty of movie/TV options.
The owner? Never saw her, Never needed to. She responded by email to each of mine in a timely manner. All of my emails had to do with just keeping her abreast of our arrival/departure and small items that she might want to a=dress in the future. We lacked for nothing and the unit worked perfectly.
