Beautiful views and excellent course. It is the toughest course I have ever played, to date. Nevertheless, the experience was great! Play the course if you ever have the chance.

Fantastic course, The price point makes this a good value compared to Pebble Beach.

We recently played both Pebble and Spyglass. Pebble has spectacular views but we enjoyed playing Spyglass more. Great course with lots of elevational change and wonderful bunkering. Its much more protected than Pebble (I think 3 holes were on the ocean) so you aren't battered by the wind all day which definetly enhances the enjoyment of the round. Be aware that carts can't leave the path and there are quite a few blind tee shots so a caddie is well worth the cost. Ask for Josh; he's a wonderful young man with a great personality and very knowledgeable about the course and greens.

If you have the chance, play both Pebble Beach and Spyglass. I just got back from playing both and enjoyed both courses immensely. Spyglass provides a different feel from Pebble since it starts out on the coast and becomes more of a traditional tree lined track with several elevated greens. The course was in impeccable condition and I couldn't have been happier with my caddy, Kevin.

If you like to play in good weather, wait to set up your tee time until after 11am. The fog remains thick until around that time. I had a 7:20 tee time and I could not see over 100 from the first tee. The course was beautiful, well maintained and more difficult than Pebble Beach. If you can afford to play both, play pebble first as you can get the awe factor out of the way before you get to play the better course of Spyglass Hill.
