As authentic Mexican food as you can hope to get. Sunday late mornings are the best. Locals flock here after church in an attempt to cure last night's hangover. You'll find plenty of people in the lobby nursing a been and waiting for a table.
The wait is never too long.
Order the Chilaquiles or the Menudo. Then again, you can't go wrong with anything. The asada is really good too...

Simple Mexican food. Great service. Drinks are good with or without meals. Games are on the TVs. Love the salad burrito.

I’ve been going there for 34 years and make sure to stop there every trip back to Cali. This restaurant has grown over the years but the food has stayed the same, EXCELLENT!!! This restaurant is what I compare all other Mexican food too. The salsa is amazing along with the food. I remember back in the days it was easier to get a table at dinner time but now you will more than likely have a wait, especially on the weekend. But once you get in, it’s well worth the wait!! I know the reviews are very subjective but even if you don’t think it’s the best, it’s still excellent Mexican food made by loving local hands.

Beef Flautas and double rice! Very good! 8/10 on the Lynne Scale. They came with some guacamole that was pretty tasted and sour cream.
$10.29.
Laine had chicken enchiladas that were pretty good. It was Mana’s special Combo & was an extra 50¢ per enchilada for meat. I think it was $9.29.
He rated them 7/10 on the Laine Scale, but I thought they looked better than that!

Margarita on the rocks QUITE good for $5.25! Not too sweet, not TOO alcoholic but you could taste it, nice!

Wish they had a happy hour but we got there at 5:15, left around 6, place was REALLY starting to fill up!

Full bar.

Saw the great reviews here and decided a visit was in order. Couldn’t have been more happy with the food and service. The place was packed but only took a few minutes to get seated. Fast friendly services by our very knowledgeable and quick waiter. Homemade chips are excellent too. Margaritas are delicious. Definitely lived up to the excellent reputation- well deserved. Arroz con pollo was awesome as was my companions Pollo Diablo.
