Great food, well-presented, with outstanding selection of local wines. Folks at a winery outside Placerville, and the owners of the Shenandoah Inn nearby, both recommended this place. My friend and I easily got in on a Friday eve around 6:15, but were told Sat was booked between 4:45 and 8:30. Mushroom "cigars" in phyllo dough are the signature appetizer. The mushrooms are diced - if you have a texture issue with mushrooms but like the flavor, you will love these! Followed with a scallop dish - superbly prepared. Will definitely return next time we are in the area.
