Did a little gambling, no luck. They did have newer machines and a fair selection for a small place. The little diner had good food and large servings. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

This is a pretty small casino, one giant room but ith a decent size bar. The major theme is slot machine, most of which work. The poker machines at the bar tend to get jammed up and require the staff to fix them.

This is not the most fun place around the Pointe Arena area.

Garcia River Casino is 5 years old, but it's well kept & still looks almost new.

A Native American Casino, it features 150 gaming machines in a 9,000 sq. ft. space, + a Bar & Restaurant.

The River Grill has a large menu & reasonable prices, so it's been a hit with the locals. There are not many restaurants in the area. Or much in the way of Entertainment, for that matter.

There are few patrons most of the time, which has a negative effect on the vibe. Probably more employees than customers.

Food was good for such a remote location. I had a veggie burger with garlic fries and a side sale that was so big I had to take the rest to the hotel for later. My wife had the clam chowder which apparently wins awards. She liked it. Her first so can't really compare it. She had fish and chips and took most of it to the hotel as well..

Off-season dining choices are limited in the Point Arena area, so our inn clerk recommended the casino for dinner. Good food and service and some fun slots while we waited for our food.
