Rooms are generously proportioned with the usual amenities, firm king bed, TV with outdated channel control (come on folks, get up to speed with at least an "info" button) and a bunch of non working/unconnected channels such as PBS, a fridge and microwave, couch and desk.
Whoever painted this room, especially the bathroom, should not have been paid. It made us laugh it was so bad.
We were quite comfortable although the air conditioner was a bit noisy. And the lack of ability to find something to watch on TV encouraged us to spend our time out of the room.
We enjoyed the small swimming pool which was at a perfect temperature. Few guests seemed to be using it and we mostly had it to ourselves. I suspect the lack of shade in the small area around the pool is a problem further into summer. It was okay during our stay in May.
We were somewhat inconvenienced by the fact that the elevator was shut down when we were wanting to checkout. Apparently they scheduled fire alarm testing that morning - badly timed. Getting our luggage down the stairs was not fun.
While this is a functional place to stay it's probably not the best choice for a vacation stay. We wished we'd chosen a more "resorty" hotel. Our mistake not the hotel's.More
