The food is consistently good, according to my taste preferences (piquant salad dressing, robust rice, good meat products). I really like the chicken kebab with garlic sause (side sauce) but everything is pretty good. However, the ambience is just alright and sometimes they can be short on tables. It has partial wait staff (you order at the counter). It is kind of pricey for the decor/type of establishment but it is a good central location and I love the food.

Too expensive, presentation terrible. Service is not so great, long wait to get food. Not too friendly.

What this restaurant has going for it is that there is no other place around that really serves this type of food. It wasn't bad at all but the prices were tough to justify. Anywhere else in the world that serves this food you can eat you fill for cheap. If you are willing to pay the price here then this is an OK place else to eat in regards to food quality.

Ok, I'll admit it: I should have paid attention to the LAST person who posted on TripAdvisor regarding this place~!! It's right next to Trader Joes...All menu prices are subject to inflation and are not a concern for ANY one who actually WORKS there~! Let's put it this way: you can ORDER it, but BEWARE of the price you're CHARGED for it--because the prices LISTED on the menu are actually about 25% cheaper than what they charge you. Some HOW, everyone there is OK with it~! And the rice? terrible--someone's dribbling yellow food coloring into the pot instead of seasonings. Humus was watered down to a consistency similar to ...umn, oh yes: WATER~!! that was it~! WHO are they kidding with this fast food disgust? My best foodie prediction: In a Haven like Redlands where it MATTERS what you put into your mouth, this place is on their way OUT like yesterdays trash~! Two pennies on the table for THIS place--my FIRST EVER insult tip~!

Conveniently located adjacent to Trader Joes off Sixth Street in Redlands Phoenicia is a Greek-Lebanese food.

The way things work here you go inside, obtain the double sided three fold out menu, decide what you want and get in the line to the counter to place your order then have a seat. So after reviewing the menu I decided to have the lamb kebab plate, $14.95. You can imagine my shock and dismay when I got to the head of the line and was told the price for the plate was $19.95, a full 25% increase over the menu price. Well, i didnt really have the time to go back and re read the menu again and $20 for a few lamb pieces at a hole in the wall joint seemed really overpriced so i just ordered the half plate lamb kebab for $10.95. Boy was that a mistake!

When the food did arrive the plate consisted of one small skewer with 4 barely bite size pieces of lamb, some lettuce with a vinegar and oil dressing and some yellow riceand some hummus. (see photo).( The photo is a close up and makes the food appear much larger than it actually was. ) Now the food was very tasty but the idea of Paying $2.50 per tiny piece of bite size meat seemed WAY overpriced.

So normally i would have rated the food about a three for taste but I was so put off by the false advertising and price bait and switch tactics employed at this place that I will rate it at an unsatisfactory one. Perhaps this type of slimy conduct is acceptable in the Mideast regions of the third world but here in America it is totally unacceptable.
If you want good Greek food at a reasonable and honest price I recommend the Fat Greek on the Boulevard in nearby Yucaipa.
