I have never been disappointed at a Black Bear Diner. This was one had excellent service, really good food, and clean. Can't go wrong with anything here. Excellent burgers, chicken strips, and yummy BLT and club sandwiches. It's always fun selecting music on their jukebox too.

I've been here several times in the past, always for breakfast, and it has always been good. We stopped in for dinner tonight, and it was fair at best. The foods we ordered were actually breakfast style and were a little disappointing. I had the breakfast burrito, which tasted pretty good, but was not a typical breakfast burrito. My only real complaint about the food was that the fruit side dish was warm (room temperature, maybe a bit warmer). My wife had an omelet (vegetarian) that she said was OK, but she had ordered it without cheese. In fact, it contained cheese. It wasn't worth sending back because of this, but clearly the kitchen has a hard time getting the orders correct. I think it will be a long time before we return to this place.

I had the Turkey Pesto Sandwich. it had real turkey a thick juicy slice. A pesto mayo and avocado and a slice of bacon too. The bread was soft and fresh. It was served with Parmesan chips which were home made.

What a fun family restaurant! Our first experience at Black Bear Diner was on Sunday. There were four of us and even on a Sunday the wait was only about 8 minutes. The food was very good and the portions generous. Our son especially enjoyed when "Biscuit" (the bear mascot) came around. We will definitely come again. It can get a little noisy when they sing for someone's birthday. Overall a very pleasant experience!

Ate late breakfast. Potatoes luke warm. Had to ask for coffee refill. Not enough staff.
Bought a little pie to take home. Eating it found that the crust was moldy on the bottom.
