Our party of 3 included one requiring a gluten free menu. Having been given one, she chose the 8 piece sashimi plate, which she completely enjoyed. My wife ordered from the specials menu the Lobstermania Roll which includes scallop, shrimp, crab mix, asparagus, cream cheese, salmon, lobster, and an absolutely wonderful mixture of sauces. I went for the sunomono salad (perfect) and the tonkatsu plate. The pork cutlets were quite good. While the tonkatsu sauce was acceptable, it seemed to lack the taste and texture to which I am accustomed. But overall, we found the food worth coming back for. The negatives included a high noise level not dampened by the acoustical design, and the need to wait for seating although the dining room, at 5:30 pm on a Monday, had plenty of available tables. Perhaps they were short handed. Our server was competent, friendly and knew the menu well.
