Description: One of the first great Wine Country establishments, the Michelin rated Restaurant at Auberge du Soleil pays tribute to its legacy with an award-winning menu and wine list. Executive Chef Robert Curry’s inspired cuisine reflects the natural diversity and rich ingredients of California’s Napa Valley and draws from regional produce, accented with Mediterranean flavors. Wine Director Kris Margerum’s wine list, the largest and most extensive in the valley, showcases the very best from neighboring vineyards.

“Beautiful fine dining Napa lunch”
Reviewed 29 March 2012

We had a lovely seat in front of the fireplace. Our entrees of the delta asparagus soup and gnocchi with mushrooms were delicious. Our mains of the beef short rib and the pork were also very good. Good wine selection. Attentive service. Beautiful view.

“Excellent in Every Way”
Reviewed 27 March 2012

We ate a lovely and delicious dinner at the Bistro which overlooks vineyards and rolling hills. The service was excellent, food was AMAZING. I enjoyed the hand-cut pasta dish of Pappardelle w/ pesto, fresh ricotta, peas, spinach and crispy pancetta. ($21) The wine list was excellent and server suggested a beautiful Napa Valley Illumination Sauvignon Blanc which was perfect with its "alluring citrus zest aromas that are sprightly and fresh, with an accent of mineral and sage. The palate is fresh, with grapefruit and tart pomelo flavors balanced by a leesy richness, minerality and juicy acidity." (quote from wine description!). The Bistro was jumping with guests who clustered on fireside tables and out on the patio which provided a view the screamed..."we are in Napa Valley!". A must do if you are in the area.

“The Bar & The Food”

Well worth the price. Go early to enjoy one of the best views in the Valley and then enjoy a spectacular diiner. If you have the time away from winery tours it is also very nice for lunch.

“Patio seating is utter perfection!”
Reviewed 18 March 2012

After a really disappointing dinner at Madrone Manor/Healdsburg, our two-week trip was revitalized by a final lunch at Auberge that was perfect in every way. The sun finally came out, the view was amazing clear across the valley, and the seating on the patio was everything you want California to be (but so often it isn't, even for Californians).

The food was divine: lobster/veal sandwich on brioche, and an amazing three-pork plate. The coffee was excellent, the iced tea properly made (which it seldom is; one of the few things we like about the Slanted Door/SF is that Phan insists on the tea being carefully brewed). I finished with a Niepoort Porto Vintage 1983 which made for the ideal end to a meal where food and service was flawless.
