My wife and I stayed here and found it to be clean and comfortable. It is located in the center of St. Helena which allowed us to walk to pubs, restaurants, and stores. We also found it centrally located to nearby wineries. The staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was clean and big. Our only complaint was that there really was no view. The room was basically a box with a small window that looked out onto a narrow alley/ patio open to guests and looked into rooms on the opposite side. Needless to say the shades stayed closed for privacy. Overall a great hotel we would return to.

Lovely little boutique hotel in the heart of Napa. Rooms are well appointed and have Molton Brown soaps etc. You also get access to Health Spa Napa which is walking distance and a gem of a place to workout (or get spa treatments). Finally morning continental breakfast is quite tasty here (see photo).

Love that the hotel is on Main Street in St Helena so you can walk to all sorts of great shops and restaurants. Archetype is across the street and Gooses and Gander just doesn’t the street to name a few yummy places to eat.

We stayed in an atrium room, of note there are four of such rooms but only two have doors that open onto an atrium (rm 12 & 5). And the atrium is pretty boring, just a white tiled outdoor space. As mentioned the rooms are all comfortable so it’s not a big deal, but I wouldn’t stay in them again, I’d rather have some sort of view.

So in short this is a wonderful place to stay in terms of price, location, and amenities In Napa.

We enjoyed our stay at the Wydown. It was located right on the main drag in St. Helena, making in very convenient to walk to dinner and shopping. very easy access to the multitude of wineries. We enjoyed the little touches at the hotel, including the sparkling and still water always stocked in our room, hot tea available throughout the day, the cookies in the evening. Our room was well appointed with a decent mattress and nice comforter (the comforter makes a big difference to me). We enjoyed the breakfast which featured the English muffins from The Model Bakery ( if you don't what this is, try it! You won't regret it.). Overall, it was a great stay.

We just came back from a long weekend in St Helena and very much enjoyed our stay at the Wydown hotel. Other reviews are correct in pointing our the the friendliness of the staff - each and every day they greated us with warmth and were eager to offer advice/ recommendations. My fiance wanted to surprise me with champagne and flowers on my Birthday and they were very helpful in making that happen!

We chose the hotel because the the location could not be better for wine tasting around St Helena and Yountville - and it proved very convenient and close to everything.

One part I want to point out that I did not know when booking but made the experience is the access to Napa Health Spa. Each day you can get a full day pass to Napa Health Spa as part of your hotel stay. Since we are on east coast time, we started our day early there each day and enoyed the hot tub, lap pool, steam room and suana. There is also a wonderful gym that we did not leverage on vacation :)

Each morning the continental breakfast was simple but delicious. Finally, we also got to take advantage of a free wine tasting provided by a local grower which we found to be fun and informative.

We stayed for 3 nights at Wydown hotel, the room is big, very clean, the bed, linens and towels are very good. They have complimentary water and coffee in the room.
The breakfast is very good.
They have a parking lot behind the hotel.
The staff is very helpful and friendly.
St. Helena is a really cute small city, near the vineyards, near Calistoga and Napa and the hotel is at Main street and easy to go every where and lots of good restaurants near.
I recommend this hotel because is really good.
