Hotel is new with many Asian food options in the area. Beautiful lobby, but lobby gets crowded during weekends or when events is going on.

The accommodations were superb. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. There really isn't much in the way of non-Asian restaurants in a walkable distance.
The lounge was a complete disappointment. Really only open for breakfast, which was the same each of the five days I was there (except for the type of sausage available). There was sliced fruit available (tasty), but was not restocked in a timely fashion. The "snacks" made available to guests were virtually nonexistent. They are filled once and once they are gone they are gone, even though the lounge remains open. Several time during my stay, the drinks ran out and were not refilled until the next day. It seems as though the people tasked with stocking and maintaining the lounge did a horrible job!

I don't stay at Sheraton often despite the fact that I am Marriott Bonvoy Platinum and consistently stay at Marriott chain over 60 nights each year. That said I am quite happy and impressed with this Sheraton. The hotel is relatively new and the room is quite large and comfy. It is the service however, especially from the front desk, that makes the biggest difference. The young lady (I forgot her name even though she told me multiple times, my sincere apology) who helped checking me in was extremely professional and friendly, and the staff there were always friendly and available to help whenever I needed one. I may consider staying at Sheraton more often thanks to this great experience I had with them. To all the staff working at this Sheraton, good job and thank you. I would not hesitate to stay here again the next time I visit San Gabriel area. Bravo!

We landed to LA the city of Angels quite late in the evening
After a long wait for a Uber and navigation LA traffic we arrive in San Gabriel
The hotel was seemed to be newly refurbished and well maintained
Check-In was cumbersome
Rooms was spacious and well appointed
During the evening not much in the surrounding area, but during the daytime plenty to see, do & eat with a plethora of offerings
Overall a good stay.

I stayed at the hotel two nights and very much enjoyed my stay. The hotel was so comfortable and the staff took great care of us. I loved the cookies at check in and the lounge on the 6th floor was stylish and clean. The hotel is in a great location and parking was easy and reasonably priced. The room decor and furnishings are very high end for a Sheraton.
