I've stayed here on 4 separate occasions for a total of 12 nights in the 2 last months. The rooms are clean, the service is great and it's a hassle-free experience. The corner rooms are fantastic. Best hotel I've found in the area.

The hotel is not where i would go again. Poor actually. A small reception, average service, quite old and unrenovated hotel.
No pool, a small bar in reception, parking house behinf the the hotel. Average price for one night should be 69$ not more.

As a teachable moment, we have shared your feedback with the appropriate hotel leadership to ensure the necessary guidelines are in place to prevent the issues you encountered from occurring in the future. Our property is just over three years old and we do have a pool onsite. Price/value is important to us, I am sorry you were not made aware our pool area which also has two gas grill for guest usage. Another learning opportunity.

Arriving in evening for a flight connection next morning we are told shuttle is booked and nothing available until less than 1 hr prior to our departure......stuck paying out of pocket for own taxi. Asked about breakfast and told it does not start until 6:30 (not posted when booking....one of the reasons we picked the hotel) so asked about getting something to go and assured that would be arranged. At an airport hotel food is generally available at all hours! Front desk staff tells us in morning they have 1 banana and 1 yogurt for the 3 of us.........manager notified and his response is "at least the staff tried to get you something". That is exactly the tone everyone in this hotel seems to have. OH WELL!!! Have had much better service at cheap hotels and would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

We meet daily as a team to discuss all guest feedback to look at ways to make needed improvements and also celebrate those whom guests by delivering great customer service. I am sorry that this was not relayed or reflected to you as you and your family were leaving our hotel.

Both of our bfast and front desk teams are empowered to handle these types of guest requests and we will continue to train role play with to be sure they understand the important role they play in our overall guest journey and satisfaction levels.

Stayed 1 night headed for Hawaii. Wife couldnt sleep, dressed for trip and down to lobby. Bought items from clerk, charged to room, sat in lit up lobby to read book. Short while later 2 hotel security guys harrassed her on why she was there, told her she wasnt guest. She showed her room key, told them to look us up in computer. Guy then said “your first name not here”. She pointed out its under my first name..weve had same last name 37 yrs. They threatened to make her leave hotel 3am in nite. Finally calmed down no apology. Ive discussed with mgr who is condescending and blames the customer. Exceptionally confrontational and you can see why his staff is same. Go to any other Marriott and you will have a completely different experience.

I extend my apologies to both you and your wife. Based on your specific feedback, we are implementing additional training that will be performed with our graveyard staff towards a more sensitive and friendly approach to future situations as played out in this scenario moving forward. Also, in a attempt for a responsible resolution, I have reimbursed you for the Marriott Reward points used for that given night. I do regret that your wife was offended and will use your feedback to make the needed improvements to ensure this remains an isolated issue.

See below entry from our security report:

"At around 2:30 I saw a woman laying down in the couch in the lobby for about 3 hours and followed security protocol to investigate further to establish why someone would be sleeping in our lobby after hours or a possible homeless situation (as we have experienced on a limited basis prior) so I asked if she had a room here, she did it was 539 but she became very offended getting asked these types of question. We apologized and offered her complimentary item from the market".

Most of our guests appreciate when security takes these steps especially when they come across something unusual like this situation especially between 2 & 4 am. We have a responsibility to the hotel, our guests and associates to investigate situations such as this one. Again the intent was to investigate and take needed action if necessary, not to offend.

I agree with 2 of the January reviews. There is nothing special about this hotel to justify the cost or arrangements, when there are so many to choose from in the airport area.

Pros: pleasant morning staff for 5AM checkout, free internet. Very convenient location.

Con: dirt on bed skirt of bed! Yuck. Assigned a strangely configured handicap room with ineffective bath layout for a nonhandicapped person and I had not requested! Annoying for a 3 night stay. Instead if a wake up call at 6AM, mine came at 1:45 AM. Noisy at night on my side of Hotel. Could also hear street noise. Not great. Never got the reminder wake up calls I had requested. Not a single view to speak of. No ambiance for the $.
