The Apple Farm Inn is such a quaint and cozy hotel. Even as a solo female traveler, I felt welcomed and safe! Two things I look for most. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend anyone else coming to SLO to stay too!

This hotel was so charming and had such a cool vibe to it. Exactly what we were looking for. We hated to leave and will definitely be going back. ( I already reserved the room we stayed in for my husbands birthday.) The front desk staff was amazing as well as housekeeping and maintenance (we had a small problem with the remote for the fireplace). We felt very comfortable that they were taking all necessary Covid precautions. Highly recommend!!!

we had been in contact with the manager for months with a July wedding planned and then moved the wedding to end of August. We had made arrangements to book about 30 rooms. We continued to check-in to monitor the situation with hotel rooms and closures due to Covid. Each time we needed to talk to someone, it required emails, phone messages, and then do that again because no one returned calls or emails quickly. Well, come to find out that the larger hotel section of the Inn was closed- the motel section was open but the hotel was a place for essential workers. We called multiple times to ask if the Inn would open and if they would be able to accommodate our group. By the end of July, still no answer with a definite yes or no- just a maybe. SO, we had to look around the area to find a place to take our group. Not once did the Apple Farm reach out to us to let us know that our reservations might not be available- we only found out because we called and emailed several times. The lack of communication is awful. Luckily we were able to book a block of rooms at another hotel in the area and they actually gave us a better rate than the Apple Farm. Too bad because the Inn is super sweet and a fun place to stay. Unfortunately, when we return to this area, we will NOT give them our business.

Although I wish the circumstances were more positive, I appreciate your taking the time to tell us about your experience with the Apple Farm. Over the past couple of months, we have had some significant changes, including the introduction of a new management company on September 1, 2020. The turnover has been challenging and unfortunately, the struggle to locate information in previous files has been frustrating. On behalf of both management companies, please allow me to apologize for your experience. Your event got caught up in the change-over and that should never have happened. I am pleased to hear that you were able to locate another venue for the wonderful event. I completely understand that your confidence in the Apple Farm has been shaken, but it is my sincere hope that we will have another opportunity to show you the kind of service and excellence that you would expect.

In Service,
Sean Nolan

This is where you go to feel like you are back in time, want great service, desire alternative amenities, and enjoy boutique places. You won't find marble everywhere and bellhops in tuxes; you will find lots of charm and it's well worth it.

A little bit of Heaven on Earth, this charming Inn is absolutely lovely and welcoming from the moment you check in until you leave. They go above and beyond to make your visit everything you were hoping. The rooms are filled with country charm and elegance. There is a restaurant and bakery on site with delicious food and pastries. You will definitely want to book your stay at Apple Farm Inn and enjoy all that this wonderful hotel has to offer!
