Home to a Grateful Dead member with live music. Unfortunately no live music during dinner hour

Had fried chicken with mashed potatoes and corn on cob. Corn was cold and potatoes like warm. Chicken was a small breast (boneless) and thigh with God’s coating but not very crispy.

Guess had fish and chips which were limp, soggy cold fries and greasy fish that had parts undercooked.

Waiter had pooped after food was served but did offer donut dessert to make amends. Other 2 meals my guests had were equal blah and poorly prepared.

Go for the music but not the food.

For aficionados of the Grateful Dead, their musical legacy, and excellent pub food in a delightful atmosphere, Terrapin Crossroads is an experience not to be missed when you visit the San Francisco Bay Area. Owned by Phil Lesh, this food/music venue was very well planned, so despite it's enormous popularity with locals, there is plenty of parking available, good service, indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the canal, and lots of free music tastefully presented.

Terrapin Crossroads is a Concert Hall and fine restaurant in it's own right. Owned by Grateful Desd bassist Phil Leah whether you are their for dinner or some music a great time is always guaranteed. I have had dinner here several times and each visit has been great. Fried Chicken and Individual sized Pizza are always good. Draft Beer on tap Large Selection of Wines, and full bar.

We had brunch on a Sunday when music was playing and the place was PACKED! I will say they were very nice in accommodating our large group of 15+ (we made reservations) and as I mentioned they were crowded but our drink order was slow as was our food order. My bloody mary was average at best. My chilaquilles came out cold, so obviously they were fired up and then sat. One of our group members, her food came out 20 mins after everyone else. I've been before with a much smaller group and had a better experience but I'm not sure when I will go back.
