Went for restaurant week and can only hope this is a true sampling of what they have to offer! Best mussels ever- very different and very tasty! Interesting spices that made for one of the best mussels I have had ever.

Filet was cooked perfectly and accompanied by delicious black garlic jus. they generously allowed us to switch the potato purée for a goat cheese gnocchi- and the portions were generous.

Gateaux Marjolaine was addictive!

Cozy candle lit ambience with comfy fur covered chairs in the bar.

They could use a few more reasonably priced wines by the glass and a slightly more generous pour, but we will definitely be returning to The Little Door.

Loved the ambience and the food. The grilled romaine was a perfect starter, the lamb chops were seasoned and cooked perfectly. My husband and daughter loved the chicken. Can eat outside and gaze at the beautiful courthouse on warm evenings. A great addition to a Santa Barbara.

Love the atmosphere of this new restaurant, home of many former restaurants! Would like to see it succeed, hoping that last night's experience will be improved on. The staff is
courteous and conscientious, but something wasn't working in the kitchen. Our starters took over 45 min. though we were told several times, "they're on the way"! Additional glasses of free wine were poured. Unfortunately, the house green salad appeared to have been "pre made" with the lettuces wilted without dressing, but zucchini slices were
drenched in balsamic vinegar. The goat's cheese on top was COLD. On the other hand, my husband's grilled romaine was delicious. Before we were finished our salads, the main course appeared, so there was a rush to clear plates. The main course dish of scallops and shrimp was delicious and made up for the poor salad and delay in being served. The servings are quite large, which I suppose is to support the high prices. Fingers crossed these errors will be taken care of soonest.

Great setting and sat on the patio. Service is fussy but not that smooth.
$40 steaks x 3 all overcooked hugely compared to order (blue was served medium and medium/rare was pretty well done). Shame as the meat was obviously good quality.
Tarte Tatin was a distant relative of the real thing - unrecognisable.
$30 corkage on a Friday night is $5 more than during the week - unnecessarily grabby.
The place was full so unlikely to care about poor review.
Glad we tried it, won't go back.

We went at 6:00pm before a concert on a Tuesday night and the place was not full at all. The salmon and chicken were both good but the best thing we had was the shaved brussel sprouts. It's a salad dish and it's stacked high with grated brussel sprouts, pine nuts and a lemon dressing. They don't have tap beer like some of the previous places in this space. Bottled beer selection is okay, not great and the wine is middle of the road.
