This place was a real find! Classical decor, excellent service and spectacular food! We had the beef cheeks whilst our son had the wild boar pappardelle. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling to LA.

Great staff, small but fabulous wine list, wonderful food, stylish and whimsey decor...

As a European far away from home, this place felt like.. well, all the best bits of home. The staff are laid back, charming yet on the ball, and genuinely seem to care about the patrons... nice touches of personal attention mixed with efficiency is always a pleasure.

The food ... ? Gorgeous. And some creative vegetarian options too. In fact the whole menu was so tempting that it was hard to decide what to pick... [so guess I'll just have to go back].

Starters: The Ceasar salad, with a soft poached egg tasted lovely, the steak tartar was light and delicately seasoned and the foie gras was perfectly cooked.

Main: The lamb shank was rich and just melted in your mouth and the steak was beautiful and cooked to perfection. You can really tell that the produce was fresh and cooked with love and attention. All washed down with some stunning French wines.

And the desserts...? To die for. Try the raspberry shortcake or the famed fig and goats cheese tart.

Try and get a table on the patio out the back if you can - but wherever you sit.. you'll feel like you are in a small chic corner of Paris and will want to come back.

And overall... the price is pretty amazing for the quality of the food you get.

Went for dinner, but the brunch / lunch menu looks just a sumptuous.

Parking can be a bit hellish sometimes in this part of town, but we had no problems snagging a space at the back, and there is on-street parking if you are lucky.

I'll be back as often as my waistline can cope with.
