The Inn is a delightful place to stay. From reception, to room, to the John Ash restaurant and the breakfast area, I found nothing negative. The food is outstanding in both areas, the grounds are lovely, the staff is cordial and attentive. I would welcome another opportunity to stay there.

Service is always great, very friendly and efficient staff. Rooms are large and well furnished with outdoor sitting areas. Nice that they supply robes, very handy for grabbing that first cup of coffee. Very convenient location, easy drive to many wineries. Food in restaurant, lounge, and and breakfast café is very tasty. Beautiful grounds, as are the grounds at the owners' winery.

Room tip: I prefer a room on the first floor. No need to carry luggage upstairs and morning coffee service is on the first floor.

Vintner's Inn is a darling place - easy to get to with excellent staff and service. A small bottle of complementary wine was set up in our room upon arrival. Turndown service while we were out and about. The food fare is high quality at the café. Wonderful Eggs Benedict! Our only concern was that the building we were in did not have an elevator. Hauling heavy luggage up the stairs was not easy for me since I have arthritis. The view of the grapevines from the balcony was worth it though. Heavenly robes in the room. Coffee service was on the main floor of the villa each morning. That was appreciated since there was not a coffee maker in the room. After a busy week in San Francisco and Reno, coming to the Vintner's Inn was a perfect way to relax, find peace and quiet, yet still be close to wine country, the ocean, and Santa Rosa.

Room tip: Request a main floor room if you have difficulty hauling luggage upstairs.

Charming, meticulous, serene, top notch inn. 5 min drive to wineries, gorgeous grounds with jogging path, fabulous food, especially breakfast including the homemade jam. Rooms spacious with outside space, extremely clean and meticulous. Value / price is reasonable- at least $100 less than Healdsburg inns. Put this on your list!

After a nearly 6-year absence we booked the Vintners Inn for a weekend stay in wine country based on our very fond memories of our last visit.

We arrived late on a misty/rainy evening and were checked in quickly and efficiently by the lone front desk clerk.

Our room on the second floor of the 300 building had a soaring ceiling, small electric simulated fireplace, nice large bathroom with soaker tub and granite countertops, big King-sized bed and even a small balcony overlooking a budding vineyard.

Everything was clean, updated and in excellent condition - clearly the owner continues to reinvest in this lovely property. While the bed was overly soft (for my tastes) my wife really like it.

This property continues to a picturesque oasis in wine country.

Highly recommended.
