Sadly, our dog has passed away, but when he was with us, the Simi dog park was hands (paws) down his favorite place to run around, sniff the latest news and meet new friends. It is nestled in the hills of Simi Valley, clean, well maintained and carefully fenced off. There is plenty parking and it is situated by the trail head to White Face montain, a popular Simi hiking trail.

We love the Simi Dog park for a variety of reasons. First, its not in the city center, you have to travel into the hills to access the park and the views are fantastic! Getting a good breeze and relaxing under the trees while the dogs run around is a treat. Second, the areas are separated for small and large dogs. Also, the dog areas are not just flat space, there are small hills for the dogs to run around and play on. As a general rule, there are a lot of people to chat with and most of the dogs get along well, though there is the odd scuffle to break up. We love going to this park a few days a week!

We had never been to a dog park before discovering and traveling to our local Simi Dog Park a few months ago. We weren't sure how our dogs would react and get along with others. They LOVE the interaction with other canines and it is a great place to meet other dog owners too. Our male dog is the social one, who wants to say hi to every dog that comes into the park. Our female loves to run around and play on her terms. Most dogs behave well and rarely does a squabble turn into any type of fight. They just know that they have buddies to play with and lots of space to do so. It is clean and rarely do we find the rude dog owner who doesn't pick up after their dog.

We have heard about the dog park here in Simi Valley, so we decided to go with our Brussels Griffon. When we got there all looked great, the big dogs were in an other section and everything looked clean and friendly. My dog was walking around checking out the place and took a little run and sprained his leg on one of the many Gopher holes that are everywhere in that park. Not very good when a small dog has his foot sunken in one of the holes. We will not got back.

The Thousand Oaks Dog Park has no trees and no grass and is UGLY. THIS SIMI VALLEY DOG PARK IS LIKE "DOGGIE AND DOGGIE OWNER HEAVEN"!!! Acres of green grass, some attractive trees and benches...water for your doggie....balls for your doggie....and many friendly dogs running all over the place. AND CLEAN...NO FECES ON THE GROUND. VERY PLEASANT!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Maybe bring your own balls or toys and water dishes in case the others are being used.

Started bringing my puppies here a month ago. The morning crowd is really friendly, the dogs are well mannered and i have been warmly welcomed. One of the few places I have been recently where people actually interact, not a bunch of noses to screens. The view is spectacular, and my puppies love the park. So glad I started coming here!

I've visited the Simi Dog Park twice. A truly great experience even without a dog. Park sits high overlooking the hills of Simi Valley. There are two areas. One more large dogs and the other fro med/small dogs. No leaches and on my visit there were many breads. Picnic tables and some shade trees too.

We enjoy bringing our dog Niki to this dog park. Never have had a problems with other dogs and plenty large.
Niki volunteers at the hospital visiting patients, doctors and nurses. Her favorite lace after the hospital is at the dog park

My 3 little dogs love it when we go here. They get to play and socialize with other dogs. It's always hard to get them to leave. All dog parents we have met are respectful and keep an eye on their dogs. Haven't had any issues with they dogs. Been here about 10 times now

This was my second visit to the dog park . I only have good things to say about it. Firstly beautiful location, the dogs are well provided for with water, and plenty of room to run around. I have met some very friendly people as well as a variety of dogs. Large dogs are separated from the smaller dogs and there are two safety gates in case a dog escapes from the first one while people are entering or exiting.
