Good - Beautiful gardens, within walking distance of downtown, clean room
Bad - Room was pricey and we were charged a resort fee (??). It wasn't a resort. No pool or spa amenities. Just a little country inn. Booked a room with a garden view. We were given a room at the end with no view of anything except the parking lot. Asked for another room per our booking and they changed our room to a door opening to the back garden. There was a step down into the room that caught both my husband and I off guard a couple of times. We were disappointed and sorry to say but we would not stay here again.

Each room in this place is unique! They have a romantic room with a fireplace, a family room large enough for 5, they have room's with kitchenette and more. The garden is nice, wish they had more all around the place. The service was beefy nice. The location is great, walking distance to Solvang's boutiques.

What a wonderful find! This little boutique inn is 3-5 mins walk from downtown and offers charming rooms and a lovely garden. Each room has a special name and is individually decorated. Adorable, quiet and parking available right outside. I'd highly recommend this little country inn.

We enjoyed the quietness and great landscape grounds of the hotel.
It is located just off the main strip which I found more relaxing...it felt like a little get away place but within walking distance to all restaurants and shops.

Room Tip: If a fridge and microwave are necessary then go with the suites.

We loved our family visit to the Solvang gardens. We stood in a king room and king suite that were adjoining rooms. It was perfect for our large family. We stood the night in the rooms which had a beautiful fireplace, a small kitchenettes with a refrigerator which was perfect so I could put some juice for the kids, and a big king bed for the little ones to share. We all slept so comfortably. My favorite was the set up of the gardens and how they are centered in the middle of all the cottages. My niece and nephew loved that they were able to be out exploring and they were age from cars driving in and we were able to see them from our cottage porch. The continental breakfast was a perfect start to our morning with milk, yogurt, oatmeal, danishes, and coffee for everyone to enjoy before we started our busy day. We definitely will be back and the staff made the stay all that much better.
