Very comfy bed, with excellent ADA parking and accomodation with a nice roll-in shower. Need to have a nightstand and lamp on BOTH sides of the bed, aside from the built-in directional flashlights mounted on the headboard. The heater seemed to never emit heat, despite rechecking the remote multiple times, but we stayed an extra night because the bed was really nice, comfy and toasty warm!

The hotel was just recently remodeled and reopened in August 2023. The rooms are nicely appointed with considerable attention to detail. They include amenities such as the use of robes (which you can purchase), and there was also a steamer for clothing in the room. The bedding and the pillows were very comfortable. The bar and outside area are also well designed. The hotel even had live music with a trio playing country/folk on a Sunday night in the outdoor bar area. A portion of the bar/restaurant is indoors.
Since the hotel was recently remodeled, there were a couple of minor issues. The TV did not work in the first room, but the staff was very accommodating in moving us to another room. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. Also, the hotel is convenient for walking the town as it is right on the edge of downtown Solvang . The parking is very easy right in front of the rooms in this two story complex which may have been more of a motel in the past. There is also a small fitness center which was great. Since nobody was using it except me, it was like a private workout room. We did not try the restaurant so I am not able to comment on it, but they do have breakfast, lunch and dinner.
I would recommend a room as far from the street as possible as there is some traffic noise in the morning although I didn't notice it until around 8:00 a.m.

Over the past ten years I have stayed at ~800 Hilton properties, and I can say with complete confidence that this is the best one I have been to. Sure, others may be better for one thing or another, but taking into account location, value, cleanliness, amenities, staff, uniqueness, etc., this property is the clear winner.
What initially caught my attention was that it's a motel, something you don't see of Hilton's. But let me tell you, this is no regular motel. Everything is incredibly well done, clean , comfortable, and modern.
The location is fantastic. Walk right off the property and you're in downtown Slovang.
Then there's the bar/restaurant and outside area. All are five stars. We are dinner here and it was some of the best food we've ever had at a Hilton. The outside area has fire pits and TV's, making it an awesome place to relax, drink, and watch sports. I'd also like to make a point of saying that our bartender was top shelf. I can't recall his name, but he was personable, professional, friendly, and a real go-getter/ambitious type. Something you don't see much of anymore.

Hilton took over this motel, did a complete remodel and reopened it August 2023 under their “Tapestry” umbrella. The main building is beautifully done in modern light and natural colors. The bar is large and inviting with excellent drinks and chef inspired food. The outdoor seating area has fire pits and couch corners and yard games like “bags”. On Sunday afternoon there was a fantastic band playing outdoors called “Schickvile”. (The band played a full spectrum genre of laidback music. Excellent vocalists and guitarists.). What a great way to spend an evening with a well crafted cocktail, superbly prepared foods and all at a fair price.
My room was beautifully remodeled in earth tones/blues/greys. Spacious, clean, fluffy towels and being so new the mattress was absolutely perfect. The bathroom has a step in shower and plenty of room to spread out. The AC unit runs efficiently and quietly (something I oftentimes find lacking in hotel rooms.) ensuring a good night of sleep. There is a small bar fridge and Keuring maker in the room. Breakfast in the morning was well prepared with a variety of options and once again chef inspired. The lobby also has complimentary apples and cucumber infused water.
Solvang is a fun place to visit, but I do find it touristy and many of the restaurants seem to be way overpriced and very poor quality “tourist traps”. It was so wonderful to find myself staying at a property where I could not only get a comfortable night of sleep, but also partake of well prepared quality foods at fair pricing. When returning to the area I would absolutely stay here and will recommend this hotel to my friends.
Note: the hotel is 2 story and without an elevator, so if you cannot manage a short flight of steps request floor 1 in your reservation.
Minor recommendation to the hotel: Consider adding a couple of extra “coat hooks” near the door and 2 more “towel hooks” in the bathroom. (The hanging clothes area is a bit small and if a few hooks were available for coats/bathrobes it would allow for greater hanging clothes space)
