This is nothing more than a motel with no ice machines. The staff feel overworked and are unfriendly. They dont even want to get you ice when you go all the way to the kitchen to pick it up..... they got ice buckets but no machines. The food at the bar was terrible not to mention overpriced. To add insult to injury I was overcharged 2 days after checkout for the food that should have been covered by the Hilton Honors food credit.
Enjoy Solvang .....stay somewhere else.

Great Hotel and in a great location in Solvang. Recently remodeled, rooms were clean and comfortable. Wonderful shower. Maria, who waited on us for breakfast in the restaurant was so friendly and a delight. Great service. On the second morning she even remembered our names. This was our first stay at this hotel but won't be our last.

Very comfy bed, with excellent ADA parking and accomodation with a nice roll-in shower. Need to have a nightstand and lamp on BOTH sides of the bed, aside from the built-in directional flashlights mounted on the headboard. The heater seemed to never emit heat, despite rechecking the remote multiple times, but we stayed an extra night because the bed was really nice, comfy and toasty warm!

The hotel was just recently remodeled and reopened in August 2023. The rooms are nicely appointed with considerable attention to detail. They include amenities such as the use of robes (which you can purchase), and there was also a steamer for clothing in the room. The bedding and the pillows were very comfortable. The bar and outside area are also well designed. The hotel even had live music with a trio playing country/folk on a Sunday night in the outdoor bar area. A portion of the bar/restaurant is indoors.
Since the hotel was recently remodeled, there were a couple of minor issues. The TV did not work in the first room, but the staff was very accommodating in moving us to another room. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. Also, the hotel is convenient for walking the town as it is right on the edge of downtown Solvang . The parking is very easy right in front of the rooms in this two story complex which may have been more of a motel in the past. There is also a small fitness center which was great. Since nobody was using it except me, it was like a private workout room. We did not try the restaurant so I am not able to comment on it, but they do have breakfast, lunch and dinner.
I would recommend a room as far from the street as possible as there is some traffic noise in the morning although I didn't notice it until around 8:00 a.m.
