WE HAVE STAYED HERE AT LEAST 10 TIMES SINCE THE NINETIES. IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN CLEAN , FRIENDLY AND AFFORDABLE. WE HAVE REOCOMMENDED HADSTEN HOUSE OVER THE YEARS. THEY HAD THE BEST POOL AND THE BEST HOT TUB IN ALL OF SOLVANG, NO ONE COULD COMPARE !! THEY HAVE SINCE TAKEN THEM BOTH OUT!!! WON'T BE BACK.

Only stayed for a night on a girls trip but the renovation is lovely and the rooms are fantastic. Very clean and modern and they have amazing robes! The shower/whole bathroom was really nice too. Very quiet too which made for a very relaxing stay and sleep. It’s the perfect location as you can walk into Solvang to eat, shop, etc. Didn’t eat at the hotel but the bar/courtyard area and lobby were very nice. Free parking is a plus as well.

We heard it had reopened and the food was good so we had to try it out. I had salmon and my friend had beet salad. The salmon was ok at best. Her beet salad was good. Service was ok. Server was friendly and checked on us often in the beginning but when I ran out of water, she disappeared.

This is nothing more than a motel with no ice machines. The staff feel overworked and are unfriendly. They dont even want to get you ice when you go all the way to the kitchen to pick it up..... they got ice buckets but no machines. The food at the bar was terrible not to mention overpriced. To add insult to injury I was overcharged 2 days after checkout for the food that should have been covered by the Hilton Honors food credit.
Enjoy Solvang .....stay somewhere else.

Great Hotel and in a great location in Solvang. Recently remodeled, rooms were clean and comfortable. Wonderful shower. Maria, who waited on us for breakfast in the restaurant was so friendly and a delight. Great service. On the second morning she even remembered our names. This was our first stay at this hotel but won't be our last.
