We have stayed at this hotel over the years many times and have loved it. The "new" hotel is very good. The decor is beautiful. Beds very comfortable, great shower and bath products and like always excellent service! We do miss the hot tub, buffet breakfast and nightly happy hour that was always included. I do have some suggestions to make it perfect again. The outdoor area is lovely but was almost totally empty from 4 to 7 as was the beautiful bar area. The parkin glot was full so I know there were many guests. The problem is that you may not take your own wine in to the area unless you bring a bottle and pay the $20 corkage fee. There was an area fo rthose with their own wine but it has poor quality chairs, no amenities like fire pits and is on the busy road. No rooms have balconies so I suspect everyone was drinking in their rooms thusly this becomes a wasted space. I suggest allowing wine in to the patio area from 4 to 7 daily for hotel guests. At the hampton inn. also a Hilton you may bring your own wine and food outside. My only other complaint is about the food. Being Diamond level we had a food and beverage credit so we had breakfast at the hotel. The complimentary coffee from 5 to 7 was watery without real milk available. that can be an easy fix. The coffee at the paid breakfast was much better and while edible, the main food was prepackaged and seemed microwaved. It was like breakfast in business class on an airplane. We will continue to stay here because overall it was very nice but making these few changes woudl make it perfect again!
