“Scenic and restful”
Reviewed 2 April 2012

Spring time in the valley and the wone buds are starting to appear. Crowds not out yet but plenty of activity to make it interesting.

“Lovely and laid back. Woodstock for seniors.”
Reviewed 26 March 2012

Wonderful views, great vineyards, people and food. All this in a casual, laid back atmosphere. No offense to Napa, but I prefer Sonoma. Very senior friendly and the wine seems to take the place of the Fountain of Youth. The Plaza is a must, as it is the central location for "the hang". Good music and a Farmer's Market as well. Stray away from the plaza and make sure you stop by Vela Cheese, you won't be disappointed. Try Della Santina, a lovely Italian restaurant with excellent food and wine and good service. Browse thru the several interesting shops in the town. Make sure you visit the vineyards and bring along a picnic lunch and eat on their grounds. Buy some wine and you will be set. Just a great place to spend a long weekend or more. Do not forget to take photos during this trip and most of all relax, everyone else is.

“Sonoma is simply awesome”
Reviewed 19 March 2012

Wow I love Sonoma - even better than Napa. Just has a less touristy feel, but with all the wine country feel. If you like wine, definitely get here. If you don't like wine, still go - you won't regret it. Only downfall of Sonoma is there's no Wine Shuttle available like in Napa.

Great place to explore. We truly enjoyed our visit to the area. Would highly recommend it for families and just people flying solo. The countryside is really pretty and we very much enjoyed our visit.
