My husband and I arrived in LA after a 10 hour flight from Manchester, UK. We live in San Diego, but booked at this hotel a fee weeks ago knowing that we would want to rest before driving home.
We self parked for free and we're immediately greeted upon entering the lobby. The lobby is beautiful. We were upgraded to a king suite, and this made me so happy. We stayed in room 702.
Our room was immaculate! The bathroom, with bidet, and warmed toilet seat was a plus, the bath products were of excellent quality (Aveeda), walk-in rainshower with window to the living area, and, of course, the deep, deep, Japanese soaking tub were perfect.
In the corner, of the living area, a curved sectional couch, dining table with authentic teapot and teas, dry bar. Dividing the room is a beautiful drawer that holds the hidden mini-fridge, coffee maker, coffee mugs and tea accessories, and a work desk.
And then, the bed! Omg, the huge, comfortable, bed.
So relaxing, perfect lighting around the bed, and don't forget, the floor to ceiling windows.
The immediate view out the window is not bad, not great either, but, you are in Torrance, not Malibu.
Customer service, room, amenities=exceeds expectations.
We also had happy hour in the bar. The gyoza is really good. The service is great, once again, and the restaurant decor is stunning. Great selection of beer, wine and sake.
I highly recommend staying here.

Tha japanese hotel in Torrance is the best in town. The bedrooms are confortable and clean. The food is amazing; since the breakfast (japanese and american) to dinner. At night, the bar offers a lot drinks.

If you are working in the area around Toyota and Honda you will notice a preponderance of Japanese restaurants, shops, and services. The newish Miyako Hybrid Hotel is another nod to the Japanese business community. The hotel is culturally Japanese, designed beautifully and comfortable. The rooms are huge, well appointed and clean. I was a bit taken back by the large window in the shower/bath area out to the "living area" As this seems to be a business hotel and not a romantic destination. I took advantage of the deep bathtub, but not the tea set in the lacquered box on the round table. The workout room was a disappointment, without some basic amenities, free weights, balance ball and bench. However, I look forward to a second stay at the hotel.

Room tip: I read that the corner rooms are the nicest rooms in the hotel, mine was not and it was just fine!

Awesome spa in town! First time ever, I felt that I had a real massage.

First, we had a lunch at Ise-Shima and it was delicious!! I had a Sashimi lunch 😋

I experienced Hot Stone Sauna first time and it was amazing! Great detox!!

The massage was great! I had Shiatsu and DT massage. My shoulder got so much lighter after the massage!!

The cost effective of this package was excellent! I highly recommended!!

PROPERTY: This property is understated from the outside, Not a loud, party hotel at all. The hotel staff is helpful. It is geared toward serving English-speaking and Japanese-speaking customers.
ROOMS: The rooms are clean and quiet. The bathroom is nice with plenty of room to get ready. The shower and tub are in one room together, which is different but works well because you end up with a lot of space to take a shower in and it is well-lit. The room includes a magnifying make-up mirror, hair dryer, and Aveda bath products.

Room tip: I heard the corner rooms are very large. my room was by the elevator, but very quiet.
