It's good to make a reservation for your dinning at Nozomi.
Pricey and yet it is worth it... Fresh and definitely good food~
Uni bowl is comfort food and fantastic.
They prepare fresh and good quality food and people are friendly as well

This is a small, unassuming sushi bar tucked into a strip mall. Normally I'd steer away from these kind of places, but we went for lunch from work one day, and I was spotted by one of the Sushi Chef's who used to work at another sushi bar I used to frequent.

Ask for Taka if you're sitting at the Sushi bar!

The Uni here is ALWAYS good, if you like Uni you must try it here!

However, ALL of there fish is always fresh and good.

Authentic Japanese cuisine, which is sort of a rare find these days, and yes, there is a difference. The sushi is fresh. Expect $$ prices.

The South Bay is full of Japanese sushi restaurants, but Nozomi is way better than most, a cut above, not just the sushi but the rest of the items on the menu. A mixed crowd of all ages fills the restaurant at night, giving the place a nice vibe. We went for the first time, and the comparative high quality of the food was evident right away. Runs expensive, but worth the price if you want delicious Japanese dishes.
