I booked this property for a family Thanksgiving; my husband's siblings and family. States that it sleeps 7. That's because a twin bed is plopped in the family room. Although it sleeps 7, it only had table seating for 4 (!!??), three cups, 4 of each size glass, random plates. The stove had two burners. There were 20 sharp knives in a knife block, but no cutting board; beaters in the utensil drawer, but no mixer. This is where I was to cook and serve a family Thanksgiving. To Redwood Coast's credit, they brought a folding table and chairs on Wednesday night after I called. We had to move the twin bed out of the family room and rearrange furniture to find a space for the table. The heat was unbearable and uncontrollable. It blasted every ten minutes from 8pm to 8 am...for three nights. Central heating with the thermostat in the upstairs unit. We opened windows to compensate, but there were no screens, so we were chasing mosquitos. There were exposed wires in the kitchen related to under cabinet lights and unboxed electrical junctions in the master bedroom closet. One bathroom has a spa tub but no shower. The drain is broken, however, so one could not tub. Several lights were burned out, most notably in the kitchen where I was trying to cook. Many lamps were missing bulbs. Shower curtain liner in 2nd bathroom was moldy. On the plus side, the location was awesome and spacious family room (after we moved bed out) had large sectional and big TV. Also, lots of towels.
We could not get out of there fast enough and would not recommend. Trinidad is awesome but this place is the pits.
