We stayed here for 2 nights for a wedding. On arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome from Dan. We went to the room, and as I had booked a family room (to get a larger 'space') we had been put in a smaller room with 1 x double and 1 x single. I went back to ask about it, and Dan explained with 1 child this was usually what they gave BUT he was more than happy to change our room for us.
We went to a much larger room - probably double the size! - and he arranged for a 2nd single bed to be put in there within 5 mins.
He was super helpful, did what he said he would, and did it in the time he said.
We went to the pub next door, which is a 5 second walk, for dinner one night and we were treated so well I though they thought we were famous! Everyone we came across was so friendly and lovely, I kept saying to my husband how nice everyone was. The food was great, lots of choice, and the place was huge so lots of room for everyone.
Breakfast was also in the pub, which had a great choice and hot things were ordered at the table (someone came over, not an app) and it was hot and quick. Lots of choice of cereals etc too.
They only quibble was no hash browns on our second morning, but as everyone was so nice I let them off! ;)
Highly recommend the hotel and pub!

The hotel was fine. Room not as luxurious as some Premier Inn’s I’ve stayed in but that didn’t matter. It was still comfortable and clean. And the. location was very quiet. The pub next door where we had to eat however was another thing. The staff were great but the food was not. All in all a slightly disappointing experience because I swear by Premier Inn and will continue to choose them

Nice hotel premier inn side was usual standard
Breakfast let this hotel down with no coffee machine just a jug of milk flasks of hot water canteen coffee cups which have seen better days and it is not acceptable to put instant nescaffee coffee in to a bowl very poor but food was OK
The pub next door was awful dirty and must have had a wedding earlier and was not cleaned up
One barman and one waiter on only we were shown to seats told there was no steak left at all strange for a grill bar and no pink gin and after waiting 30 minutes still did not get a drink served
the waiter delivered a new burger bun to the next table on his hand and then placed onto the table very poor hygiene and to be honest the waiter needed to take a shower nothing worse than a unwashed smell at this stage forget it we walked out and drove to the hungry horse down the road lot better bad experience but hotel is of a good standard

The hotel is fine, no problems at all, however the breakfast is not normal Premier Inn quality, coffee is not Costa Coffee, a not water jug and instant coffee in a bowl, no Croissants or Pain au Chocolate. Porridge like wallpaper paste! Would stay again but go elsewhere for breakfast.

Room tip: Do not have breakfast
