If you like spicy Cuban food this it the place to eat in Walnut Creek. Nice atmosphere and plenty of seeting. Mojito Mondays are awesome and sometimes crowded. They often have a sponsor such as Captain Morgan or Cruzan on Mondays. The representatives of the sponsors provide samples of their various beverages.
Be sure to try the items on the appetizer menu. I often just eat the apps and have a Mojito or two.

Very impressed! Anniversary dinner here was a treat. Quality ingredients cooked nicely. The scallops app is a star plate! Calamari, fresh, flavorful and cooked nicely with a spicy guacamole sauce. My banana leaf wrapped sea bass was a tad over, but not horrible. Paella, again, fresh ingredients, delicate flavor, I would say needed a tad of salt to bring it to its height.

Happened to be mojito Monday, $4 mojitos which were well made with a kick!

Solid service as well

All around solid 4 stars! Impressed from a Philly Foodie

The crabcake was really great, and so was the little empanadas, bbqued shrimps were tasty, then we had the fried plantain. This was just a snack, in the niddle of the afternoon. Dinner must also be great here.

Mondays are 1/2 priced Mojitos including pitchers so it's a great place to go for 2 or more. Food is terrific (love the Ahi). The only downside for me is that the main space is very loud ... which can be a good thing. We have taken over the entire place for a holiday office party and everyone had a ball

The food, drinks, service and ambiance was exceptional. It is great for families. .they played great music in the background, however it wasn't so loud as to impact an intimate conversation. Can't wait to go again.
