We loved everything about le Petit Ermitage, An intimate friendly hotel i west Hollywood. The rooms - do spoil yourself and get a room on the top floor next to the pool and the secret restaurant. (You can only go there if you stay at the Hotel or if you are A-listed actor. We sat next to several when dinning.
The private rooftop where the restaurant is situated is home and sanctuary for hummingbirds and Butterflies.
The food is simple yet excellent. The staff are beyond friendly

Room Tip: top floor by the pool

This hotel is so great I almost don't want to recommend it. It was a little oasis in the middle of a hectic traffic strewn city and it was so comforting to come to go back to such a great spot. Beautiful hotel, amazing art, delicious food, friendly staff and the most unbelievable rooftop.

The hotel has the coolest atmosphere but the service was not what we expected. We store luggages than couldn't be found and one was left behind after many requested to have our luggage sent to the room. No spa and no gym at the property. Super late check in 4pm which is annoying when you want to have a shower after a long trip.

This is the place we will be staying again when we return to West Hollywood. Loved every inch of this boutique hotel..We were spoiled and enjoyed all the decadence and delights, from gorgeous food, bar, entertainment, salt pool, view of the Hollywood hills, location, charm, glam, and touches of original art. The room was filled with offerings of excellent champagne, Manhattans, Martinis, Rob Roys- all the old style cocktails that made you feel you were back in the 1920's with a twist, Fine chocolates, nuts, treats-
the table over flow~ith .... and even fresh made warm cookies. There's more, I won't give it all away, worth every penny, See you soon.

Stayed here at the last second on a quiet Sunday night via a $250 offer from Hotel Tonight. For the price it was a wonderful deal. Eclectic but large and very comfortable room with excellent bed and linens. Friendly staff, very quiet rooms, and one of the nicest roof deck restaurant/bar/pools I've seen in LA (would be awesome for a date night). Would definitely stay there again for the same price (but perhaps pricey if over $300).
