My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights to start off our 5 week holiday across America.
The hotel is in a great location, and that’s what is most important to us, so we were very happy with our travel agents choice.
It is surrounded by awesome bars, restaurants and night clubs, and even though it is primarily a gay area, we met fantastic people, had a ball, and never felt out of place!
There is also 2 large supermarkets nearby, if you need anything.
West Hollywood is safe and you can walk to Beverley Hills, Rodeo Drive, Sunset Boulevard etc.
The hotel itself is a bit tired, although it kind of added to the old Hollywood feel. In saying that, our room was very clean and although the air con was loud at times, it worked very well.
The pool area was never busy, and it was fantastic to be able to cool off and have a well deserved drink after a busy day sightseeing! The cast iron sun beds were quite uncomfortable, but again fitted the theme.
There is a fantastic cafe/restaurant attached to this hotel called Kitchen 24 and we were given breakfast vouchers when we checked in. Amazing! We ate there regularly!
Nice staff too, so definitely somewhere we would stay again if in town.
