Recommended by a friend so stopped. Was very small with limited wine selections. Did purchase a few bottles. However when reviewed the receipt later saw that they charged for their wine bag !
Went to several wineries in Napa, including Opus One, and no one charged for their wine bag when purchase was made !
Would not recommend

Anyone who wants to enjoy a wine tour of the Northern Sonoma Valley could do worse than drop in the Mutt Lynch Tasting Room in Windsor, California on a Thursday or a Friday to meet Wes. He is perhaps the most knowledgeable person working in a wine tasting room that I've ever met. He also has the best stories to go along with the wonderful wines available from Mutt Lynch and from Deux Amis. Don't miss him.

Wasn't a big fan of this place or the wine - sorry - everyone has their own opinion when it comes to wine and this was mine. It was very loud - someone had their dog in there at the time we were tasting - I mean I like dogs - but there's a time and place for everything.

We were driving north on Old Redwood Highway and realized that our appointment for a private tasting at another winery wan't until the following day. So we did what any other modern travelers would do - asked Google for directions to the nearest tasting room, which turned out to be Mutt Lynch. They are located on Windsor Road at the edge of downtown Windsor, which is off the 101 freeway between Santa Rosa and Healdsburg. The wine labels are dog themed, so expect to see a pooch or two in or around the tasting room. It's a very relaxed, informal setting. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and we enjoyed all of the wines they poured that day. The specialty seems to be Zin and they're quite good and very reasonably priced. I love many wineries in Healdsburg, especially the ones that specialize in Russian River Pinot Noir, but they can also be pricey, so consider stopping by Mutt Lynch on your way so you can try something different and more affordable.
