The Nixon museum did not shy away from the Watergate scandal, they addressed it right up front in the introductory film strip and included a large display covering the details. Watergate was not what we walked away remembering, rather all of the accomplishments from the Nixon years in office. We were very impressed by the man and the manner in which his story was told within the museum.

We brought our kids ages 11, 14, and 16 and we all loved this museum. I would compare the exhibits in quality to the new African American museum-- well done, interesting to all ages. We also loved the Nixon homestead - so interesting to see the home where he grew up. The movie was well done and great as well. We would highly recommend to all ages!

This place was very nice and the grounds and volunteers were excellent. It also had a helicopter there that was called "Army One" I asked the volunteer why it wasn't "Marine One" and he said it is because of the service that the pilot was surviving in at the time. I had never heard this before and enjoyed that little fact.

Richard Nixon spent his life in service so there is a lot of US history. He was funny, musically talented, a devoted husband, a great foreign policymaker, and a man who wished most of all to be known as s peacemaker. Forget your politics, enjoy and learn.

From the moment you walk in, you know your somewhere important. The video was very well done. It kept my grandson eyes on the screen. The way they talked about his life and legacy was nicely done. When you walk the halls you move from one time in his life to another. I loved the simulation of the 2 of them leaving the white house, after his resignation. The two of them siting on the plane with the the outside window showing what was happening on the ground. It make you sit make and wonder what they were thinking as they leave there home. Then you go into his childhood. Switching to his life before his became president. How lucky to have this place so close. Glad his home was picked for his Library. His home. Her gardens, The helicopter to their buried spot It has everything to make for a great day.
