My husband and I stayed at Maison Fleurie while in Napa for the first time in September of 2011. I chose the hotel on the recommendation of several friends, and based on TripAdvisor reviews, and we were not disappointed!

We stayed in one of the Carriage King rooms and it was spacious, lovely, and private. Our room did look out on the pool, so if people had been using the pool during the day while we were home, that could have been annoying. Loved the space though, and loved the privacy of being in the carriage house.

The staff was welcoming, kind, and helpful from the moment we arrived. Exactly what I like in a B&B. We didn't partake in the wine and hors d'ouerves in the afternoon, but walked through and everything looked good. I also swiped a cookie or two throughout the day, and they were delicious. Nice as well that there are sodas at the front desk while the desk is staffed.

The location can't be beat. Literally a 5 minute walk to Bouchon (and the rest of downtown Yountville's restaurants), through a beautiful Napa town, and in Yountville, you're very central for all the vineyards from Napa to Calistoga!

I hear some of the rooms are smaller than ours was, and sure, the decor is a little outdated, but in a charming way. This is a real gem at that middle price point for Napa. Our experience here was truly top notch, and we'll definitely be back next time we're in the area!

Room Tip: Carriage House Kings are great size and nice and private.

We spent just a few nights at Masion Fleurie. It had been about 8 years since our last visit and we were very pleased that the place was just as warm and hospitable as we remembered. It's right behind Bouchon and within easy walking distance of many othe great restaurants (French Laundry, Bistro Jeanty, etc). Very clean room, nice details (great breakfast, wine/snacks available) and all at a reasonable price.

My husband & I usually stay away from B&B's - we generally don't want to have to talk to people if we're not in the mood - but I found this inn on tripadvisor and liked the photos and reviews but most importantly, the price. Yountville is a teeny, tiny town and is known for being pricey since it has the 3 great Thomas Keller restaurants right there so I was seeing places starting at $300/night & upwards which we didn't want to spend. Maison Fleurie was a very do-able $175 (w/ European breakfast included) so we grabbed it. When we got there we were blown away by the beauty of the building...think a stone French farmhouse with ivy crawling up the walls, beautifully appointed with furnishings, multiple fireplaces, cozy nooks, a really fantastic large deck on the 2nd floor. The woman behind the front desk was so nice & friendly, again warm & welcoming. Our room was small & cozy, consisting of exposed brick, a comfortable bed w/ a beautiful down duvet, dresser, closet and pullman sink. The toilet & shower were in a separate private room off our room. It wasn't huge but for just sleeping, it was more than adequate. Reminded us of places we'd stayed in France. The next morning the beautiful downstairs parlor/dining room (for lack of a better word) was set up with coffees, teas, oatmeal, hardboiled eggs, toast, muffins, jams, fresh fruit salad, cereal...really all you'd need for a satisfying start to your day. Oh and the rest of the day the room was outfitted with an assortment of delicious cookies (I suspect from Keller's Bouchon Bakery which is literally in their backyard & whose aromas waft over to the inn), wine (a little sweet but the effort was appreciated) and cheese & crackers in the afternoon. Everything tastes great there. They have bicycles so you can ride all over the place if you want to which is a good idea after dining at either Keller's ad hoc (we went to Monday Fried Chicken Night which was everything & more the reviews say about it) or Bouchon. With great attention paid to detail and very welcoming, this place is not for everyone but if it is for you, you'll love it! And if you're on the fence about B&B's give it a try, cause we're SO glad we did.

Yountville is one of the priciest places in all of N California so this place is good value. Gorgeous little building, hot tub, pool, lovely service, afternoon cookies and evening nibbles and drinks provided. Really great place to stay for exploring wine country.

We came to Napa for a family wedding and than stayed for an additional week. We loved staying at Maison Fleurie. It was so cozy, and beautiful! The gardens gorgeous, the people amazingly nice. We were on the main level in our own little place. Out our back door were the gardens and pool. You could sit right outside your door at a cute little table and chairs, and just enjoy. Breakfast was amazing every morning, and the room everyone ate in, was beautiful and yet so comfortable. You feel as though you are someplace very special! We enjoyed so much, and it was so relaxing.
